1. Chief Corporate Officer

Job Responsibilities

• Providing executive leadership and strategic direction across KTMB's Corporate Pillar.
• Formulating and driving short-term and long-term corporate strategies and business plans.
• Strengthening corporate planning, performance management, business analytics and organisational reporting.
• Ensuring effective financial governance, resource optimisation and financial sustainability.
• Leading strategic human capital management, talent development, workforce planning and industrial relations.
• Strengthening procurement governance, efficiency and compliance.
• Driving the effective utilisation of ICT and digital capabilities to support organisational transformation.
• Overseeing asset and facilities management to optimise KTMB's corporate resources and infrastructure.
• Strengthening governance, policies, procedures and corporate systems in line with KTMB's strategic objectives.
• Supporting the development of rail-related competencies and capabilities through MyRA.
• Providing strategic advice to the GCEO on corporate, organisational and business matters.
• Building effective relationships with the Board of Directors, Government agencies, regulators, unions, senior management and external stakeholders.

Candidates Requirements

• A recognised Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, Public Policy, Engineering or a related discipline.
• A Master's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Human Capital Management, Strategic Management, Public Administration or a related field will be an advantage.
• Minimum 20 years of progressive professional experience in corporate management, human capital, finance, governance or enterprise/corporate functions.
• At least 12 years of experience at senior management or executive level.
• Proven experience leading multiple corporate functions in a complex organisation.
• Experience in a GLC, regulated or unionised environment is highly desirable.
• Strong track record in managing stakeholders including Boards, Government agencies, regulators, unions and external partners.
• Familiarity with Ministry of Finance (MOF) and Ministry of Transport (MOT) policies, circulars and guidelines will be an advantage.
