1. Medical Doctor

Accountability & Responsibility

• Overall in charge of the daily operation in the TNB clinic
• Lead medical team to ensure the smooth running of the clinic and operational efficiency
• Responsive, provide diagnosis and evaluate patients who have illnesses or injuries
• Provide treatment and counselling to patients where necessary
• Prescribe medication or treatment plans to address the patient’s condition
• Keep up-to-date with the current medication, technology, medical developments and treatment
• Mentor and supervise medical assistant, staff nurse and clinic assistant
• Collect history record and maintain sensitive patient information
• Supervise patient scheduling, registration, medical records, data entry and processing
• Identify areas of improvement in patient care and treatment
• Assist in preparing the Budget Estimate and Revised Budget of the TNB clinic
• Initiate or conduct investigation of any queries and refer to Senior Manager of Medical Management for further discussion
• Ensure patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting and risk management when there is complaint and develop process improvements to prevent recurrences
• Assist with planning to evaluate performance levels, quality of service, productivity and future needs
• Ensure legal compliance by complying with TNB policies, procedures, guidelines as well as medical benefit regulations
• Ensure compliance with MOH Regulations, Medical Laws, Labour Laws, Safety Standards and other federal and local regulations.

Education and Knowledge

Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (Certified by Ministry of Health Malaysia)

Experience Requirements

• Registered with Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
• Valid Annual Practice Certificate (APC)
• Qualified as Fully Registered Doctor in Malaysia
• At least 5 years of working experience in medical healthcare field
• Has Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) certificate (optional)
• Willing to standby as medical representative during company events (as and when required)
